About the Property

16 guests | 4 Bedrooms | 13 beds | 3 full baths | Salt water pool

An ocean front beach house rental in Holden Beach, NC — where family vacations actually feel like vacations. Here at “The Ohana House” you can unplug, unpack once, and stay a while. We created a place that feels like home where there is room for everyone……Right on the ocean.

No high-rises, no boardwalk chaos — just four miles of quiet, family-friendly island where your kids run straight from porch to sand. Hunt for shells & shark teeth by day, chase ghost crabs by flashlight at night. Bike to Bridgeview Park for the splash pad, hop a boat tour to spot dolphins, or cast a line off the shore. Grab shrimp burgers on the Intracoastal or pizza that becomes a yearly tradition — and if you forgot anything, we are fully stocked- and there’s a Food Lion and beach gear rentals right on the island.

The Space

The Ohana House puts you ocean front, right in the center of relaxation. Oceanfront Holden Beach home for small or large groups — 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 13 beds, sleeps up to 16. Nobody’s left behind on this trip.

Heat up the saltwater pool when you want a break from the waves, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and gather around on the porch once the sun goes down. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and AC mean you can stay as connected — or unplugged — as you want. Beach chairs, shades, towels, and all linens are provided, so packing stress stays off your list.

Located on the Holden Beach barrier island, just a walk down Ocean Blvd to the sand, and an easy drive over the Holden Beach Bridge via NC-130. ILM is 35–45 minutes away, MYR 40–55 — close enough for easy travel, far enough to feel like you’ve actually left.

This is the family beach. This is the house where everyone fits — multigenerational crews included.

The Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 — The Primary Suite Your retreat after a long beach day. The primary suite features a king bed and a private ensuite bath with a full tub — because the adults in charge deserve a door that closes. Sliding door access to back (beach side) covered porch.

Bedroom 2 — A queen bed plus a twin with a trundle makes this room perfect for a couple traveling with a little one, siblings sharing a space, or whoever needs the most versatile sleep setup in the house. Private ensuite full bath with tub included.

Bedroom 3 —A queen bed and a full-over-full bunk with a twin trundle give this room serious flexibility — great for a mix of ages, or a family that just needs options. Shares the hall bath with Bedroom 4.

Bedroom 4 — The Bunk Room This one was made for the kids. Twin-over-full bunk, twin-over-twin bunk, plus an extra twin means the whole crew can pile in together — and they’ll love every second of it. Sleepover energy, beach house edition.

Every bedroom has its own Smart TV with Roku remote.

The Bathrooms

Three full baths means no morning traffic jams. The primary ensuite and Bedroom 2 ensuite offer privacy for the adults, while the third full bath with a tub sits between Bedrooms 3 and 4 — also accessible from the living area for easy pool and beach rinse-off flow. Instant hot water heater added in May 2026- no running out of hot water when everyone showers back to back!

The Living Room

Open concept and ocean front — meaning you can watch the waves from the couch without getting off it. The living area flows naturally into the kitchen and dining space, so the whole group stays connected whether someone’s cooking, the kids are playing, or everyone’s just decompressing after a beach day.

The main living area TV keeps the group together for movie nights, game days, or just background noise while dinner’s cooking. When you’re ready to unplug, a collection of board games is on hand for the whole family to enjoy. Rain day? You’re covered. Beach night wind-down? Even better. This is the room where the vacation actually happens.

The Kitchen

This kitchen was stocked with real trips in mind. A island gives you prep space and a casual gathering spot with two bar stools, and the coffee bar setup means mornings start right — with both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot available, because groups are never unanimous on that. Beyond the basics you’d expect (stove, dishwasher, microwave), you’ve got an air fryer, waffle maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, and a nugget ice maker that will immediately become everyone’s favorite appliance. A Ninja slushy maker may also be on hand — because beach days and slushies go hand in hand.

The Outdoor Spaces

The Decks & Porches Step outside and the ocean is yours. The back covered porch overlooks the water directly — morning coffee here is non-negotiable. A direct beach walkover from the back deck means the sand is seconds away, no shoes required (except for summer months between 10am – 5pm because the sand gets HOT). Catch the sunset looking toward the pier or on the front porch (street side)— the kind of view that makes everyone put their phones down (after a photo of course).

The Ground Level — Your Home Base This is where the fun lives. The saltwater pool anchors the space (heated for a fee on request), surrounded by lounge chairs, a hammock, pool umbrellas, and an outdoor dining area perfect for post-beach meals. Rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading inside.

The Storage Room — Fully Loaded Most beach houses make you pack everything. Not this one. The ground-level storage room is stocked and ready — beach chairs, beach shades, pool umbrellas, boogie boards, skim boards, a paddle board, extra beach toys, and pool toys are all waiting for you. Just grab and go.

For the yard warriors, outdoor games are included too — cornhole, bocce ball, ladder ball, spike ball, bucket ball, wiffle ball, sand basketball, a Q54 football, and more. There’s no such thing as a boring afternoon here.

For the grillers- we provide a grill. There might be propane tanks left by other guests- we encourage this because if you take an empty one back to get a refill you get a discount!

Guest Access
