Pinehurst condos: The Walter Hagen & The Bobby Jones
Our 2 golf condos sit right by Pinehurst Resort. The Cradle is about a 7 minute walk from The Bobby Jones and about 10 minutes from The Walter Hagen. The Village shops, restaurants and the Putter Boy are about a 5 minute drive from both.
Foxfire condos (long-term rentals)
Our 2 furnished condos on the Foxfire golf course are just outside Pinehurst. They come with golf course views and all utilities included, and they're rented on 12 month leases.

Got questions about using discounts? Just reach out to us!
*Discounts can't be combined unless we say so, and they apply to new bookings only. Peak summer weeks (June and July) at our beach homes aren't discounted, so book those early.
Are early check-in or late check-out options available?
Of Course! We try our best to accommodate when possible, depending on cleaning schedules/turnovers.
Do you provide a kitchen with all the necessities?
Absolutely. Every one of our rentals has a full kitchen, so you can cook breakfast before your tee time or feed the whole crew after a day on the beach.
Just bring your groceries. We'll take care of the rest.
All the regular questions: Parking, Wifi, etc.
Free, convenient parking is included at all of our properties.
All of our properties have fast and reliable internet.
Smart TVs in all living rooms and bedrooms.
Is self-check-in available?
Yes! You are provided with your own personal keyless entry code that is active during your stay making your arrival seamless and flexible.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Some of our properties allow pets — ask us in advance and we’ll share availability!
Do you allow extended stays?
Yes! We welcome both weekend getaways and longer-term stays. Just reach out!
What is travel insurance? Do you offer it?
Travel insurance (also called trip insurance) protects the money you've spent on your vacation if something unexpected keeps you from going or cuts your trip short. Depending on the plan you choose, it can cover things like:
- A sudden illness or injury before or during your trip
- A family emergency
- Travel delays or missed connections
- A named storm or hurricane that disrupts your plans
- Lost or delayed luggage
Yes, we offer it! When you book with us, you'll get a link to add trip insurance right through your guest portal. It only takes a few minutes, and it's best to add it soon after booking.
Why we recommend it: We know plans change, and we'd hate for you to lose your vacation money. Our cancellation policy doesn't give refunds for weather, named storms, early departures or late arrivals. The one exception is a mandatory evacuation order, which gets a prorated refund. Trip insurance is the best way to protect your trip from everything else life throws at you, especially if you're booking a summer week at the beach months ahead.
Every plan is different, so read what yours covers before you buy. Questions about a claim go to the insurance provider directly.
lost and found: How is it handled?
Left something behind? It happens to all of us, especially with phone chargers and kids' favorite stuffed animals. If our team finds personal items after you check out, we'll message you with a photo and ask if you'd like it shipped back.
We're happy to box it up and mail it to you. You just cover the shipping cost. Once you confirm, we'll get it in the mail and send you the tracking number.
Missing something you don't see in our message? Reach out to us as soon as possible. The sooner we know, the better chance we have of finding it before the next guests arrive.
Good to know:
- Food, drinks and opened toiletries can't be held or shipped, and are thrown away after checkout.
- We hold unclaimed items for 30 days, then donate or throw them away.
HOLDEN BEACH FAQS
PINEHURST FAQS
Where are the Holden Beach Rentals Located?
We have 3 condos located in Pinehurst, NC — close to world-class golf courses, charming Village shops, great dining, and local attractions.
A 4 bedroom / 2 Bathroom Ocean Front House located in Holden Beach, NC.
I love this house! Can I go ahead and book it for next year?
We love hearing that! And yes, you can. Our returning guests get First Dibs on their week for next year with an Advance Year Tentative Hold.
How it works:
- Message us by 7:00 PM EST the night before checkout. Tell us you'd like to hold the same house for the same week next year.
- Pay a $150 (+ tax) holding fee. It's non-refundable and doesn't count toward your rent.
- Make your first payment by January 15. Half of your rent is due by January 15 of the next year, and that's when your booking becomes official.
- Pay the rest 30 days before you arrive.
Missed the January 15 payment? We'll send you a friendly reminder email 3 days later. If we still haven't received payment after that, your week goes back on the market for other guests.
What First Dibs gets you:
- First choice of your house and week before it's offered to anyone else. For June and July weeks, which book up fast, that's a big deal.
- Our returning guest gift, worth up to $140, waiting when you arrive next year:
- A PineCoast Properties Holden Beach beach towel
- A PineCoast Properties travel mug
- A surprise PineCoast gift
Most of our families tell us the best part of leaving is knowing they've already got next year booked. Just send us a message before 7:00 PM the night before you check out, and we'll take it from there.
What is there to do if we arrive before check in?
First, send us a message. We often let guests check in early if the home is ready, so it never hurts to ask. If the house isn't ready yet, here's how you can fill a few hours on Holden Beach.
Hit the beach. The beach is open to everyone, and there are public beach accesses up and down the island. Throw on a swimsuit, find a spot to park and get your toes in the sand before you ever unpack. Just remember the beach gear is waiting at the house, so don't run out to get any.
Grab lunch and stock up. Local spots are great for lunch or Food Lion is open for grocery shopping, Shallotte is about 10 minutes from the bridge, with plenty of restaurants, Walmart and grocery stores. It's the perfect time to do the big grocery run so the fridge is full when you walk in. Want fresh local seafood instead? Pick up shrimp from the boats along the Lockwood Folly in Varnamtown.
Take a short drive. Ocean Isle Beach and its Museum of Coastal Carolina are about 20 minutes away and a great stop with kids. A little farther down the coast, Calabash is famous for its seafood, and you can't beat it for an early dinner.
Slow down on the island. Drive the length of Ocean Boulevard, check out the beach shops near the bridge, take the kids to the park on the waterway or just relax by watching the boats go by on the Intracoastal.
Once the house is ready, we'll send you a message, and the vacation officially starts.
What extra amenities do you provide?
We stock our beach rentals the way we'd want it stocked for our own family...fully. Here's everything waiting for you.

Check In & Check Out: What Time? How? Early Arrival?
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
How check-in works: It's contactless and easy. No key pickup, no office stop. You can go straight to the beach house.
- Finish your guest portal. After you book, you'll get emails to log in to your guest portal. There you'll verify your ID (first-time direct guests only), sign your waivers and sign your rental agreement. Please finish these before you arrive.
- Get your 4-digit smart lock code. We'll send your personal 4-digit code 2 days before check-in, along with directions, Wi-Fi details and your digital Welcome Book. Your code is active for your entire stay. You will also get a 4-digit code to the beach gear storage room.
- Let yourself in. Enter your code on the keypad on the front door and wait for the blue checkmark before opening. To lock up, close the door and press the lock button. Please use the front door for all coming and going, so the house is always locked behind you.
Finding the house: Some GPS apps list our address as Supply, NC instead of Holden Beach. Don't worry, you're in the right place. Your check-in message will include easy directions from the bridge.
Arriving early? We'll do everything we can to have the house ready early, but sometimes a late checkout or extra cleaning from the guests before you gets in the way. Looking for something to do while you wait? See "What is there to do if we arrive early?"
If the house isn't ready at 4:00 PM: We work hard to have the home ready on time, but every so often something outside our control causes a short delay. If that happens, we'll message you with updates and the moment the house is ready.
Check-out: Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Your checkout list is in your Welcome Book. Need a little extra time? Ask us. Late check-out isn't guaranteed and may come with a fee, but we'll always check the schedule for you.
What do we need to do prior to leaving at checkout?
Not much. We want your last morning to be about one more cup of coffee, or one more beach walk.....not cleaning.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM Our short checkout list is posted in the Welcome Book:
- Take out all trash to outside receptacles and take to street.
- Start the dishwasher/Wash all dishes and put away.
- Remove all food from refrigerator and cabinets.
- Place all used towels (beach towels, bath towels, hand towels, washrags, kitchen towels) in bath tub.
- Leave all used beds unmade
- Place all furniture (inside and out) in its original position.
- Lock and secure all windows and doors. Including the storage room door.
- Leave A/C on 76 during warm weather & 55 during cold weather.
- Turn off all inside and outside lights.
A few extras by home:
- The Ohana House: Sign our guest book and take a picture for THE wall before you head home.
When is the pool open? Can it be heated? When is it serviced?
The Ohana House's private saltwater pool is open year round.
Pool heat: Yes! Pool heat is available for $150 per week.
- Request it at least 48 hours before you arrive. Heating the pool from its natural temperature usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Requests made after check-in, or with less than 48 hours' notice, can't be guaranteed to warm up in time, and the heating fee isn't refundable.
- We'll handle the heater for you. Just let us know when you book. Please don't adjust the heater, pump or any pool equipment yourself. Any damage from tampering will be charged to the guest.
- Weather plays a part. We'll keep the heat running for your whole stay, but we can't promise an exact water temperature. Wind, cool nights, cloud cover and how often the pool is used all affect it.
- If something seems off, message us right away and we'll send a pool technician.
Pool service: Our pool team services the pool every Wednesday to keep the water clean, balanced and ready for you. They'll come and go quietly through the backyard, so you may see them during your stay.
Pool safety reminders:
- There's no lifeguard on duty.
- Adults must supervise children at all times.
- No diving, no glass, and no jumping from the decks or beach walkway.
- Rinse off in the outdoor shower before you swim.
- Close the pool gate after every use.
Can I receive mail or packages at my vacation home?
Yes! Both of our Holden Beach homes have mailboxes, so USPS can deliver right to the house. UPS and FedEx deliver here too, but beach deliveries can be hit or miss, especially in summer. We can't guarantee any package will arrive on time.
Address your package like this:
[Guest Name], c/o PineCoast Properties
405 Ocean Blvd West (The Ohana House) or 226 Ocean Blvd E
Holden Beach, NC 28462
A few tips to play it safe:
- Time your delivery. Have packages arrive after your check-in date, not before, so they don't sit outside for the guests before you.
- Track everything. Turn on delivery alerts so you know the moment it arrives.
- Medications and time-sensitive items: Send us a message before you order and we'll help you find the best option.
- Already ordered to the wrong place? Contact USPS, UPS or FedEx directly to see if they can reroute it.
If your package arrives before or after your stay: Let us know, and we'll do our best to get it to you. We'll check with our team, the guests staying at the house and anyone else who may have seen it. Please note that PineCoast Properties isn't responsible for guest packages delivered before, during or after your stay.
Just need groceries or supplies? Coastal Home Watch Concierge can have them waiting when you arrive: coastalhomewatchconcierge.com, (910) 634-5769.
Questions? Send us a message. We're always happy to help when we can.
When and how are security deposits returned?
After you check out, we walk through the house and check for any damage, missing items or extra cleaning. If everything looks good, your full security deposit comes back to you. You'll get it within 30 days of checkout, returned to the same card or payment method you used to book.
If we ever do need to take something out of your deposit, we'll send you an itemized list showing exactly what it was for, along with the rest of your deposit. No surprises.
Most guests never have to think about it. Follow the house rules and the checkout list, report anything that's already damaged within 24 hours of arriving, and you're all set.
Do all properties include linens? If so, what does that include?
Yes! At our beach rentals, every bed is made with fresh premium linens when you arrive, and bath towels are waiting for everyone in your group. We also leave extra pillows and blankets in the house for anyone who likes to sleep cozy.
Here's what's ready for you:
- Premium sheets and pillows (at least 3) on every bed, all 13 of them
- 2 Bath towels for each guest on the reservation
- 1 hand towel for each guest on the reservation
- 1 makeup washcloth for each guest on the reservation
- 1 white wash cloth for each guest on the reservation
- 1 beach towel for each guest on the reservation
- Extra pillows and blankets in each closet.
- Kitchen dish towels
There's a washer and dryer in the house too, so you can freshen up towels mid-week if needed.
Are your rentals pet friendly? What are the rules for pets on the beach?
Yes! We love dogs, and we know vacation isn't the same when part of the family stays home. Our rentals welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs with pre-approval and a non-refundable pet fee.
Bringing your dog to our beach rentals:
- Ask us first. Let us know when you book so we can approve your pup.
- Pet fee. There's a $150 non-refundable pet deposit, separate from your security deposit.
- Dogs only. Up to 2 dogs. No other pets, though service animals are always welcome.
- Supervision. Keep your dogs with you at all times. When you head out for dinner or go to bed, please crate them in a crate you bring from home. Dogs can't be left alone outside a crate, including on the decks or in the yard.
- Dogs to stay off the furniture and out of the pool.
- Pick up after your pup, both at the house and on the beach. Before you leave, do a quick walk around the yard and decks to grab anything you missed.
Dogs on the beach rules:
Holden Beach is a great beach for dogs. You just have to know the timing:
- May 20 to September 10: Dogs are allowed on the beach only before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. Those are the best times to be out there anyway, with cooler sand and a sunrise or sunset to enjoy.
- September 11 to May 19: Dogs are welcome on the beach all day.
- Leash at all times. Dogs must be on a leash everywhere on the island, year-round. Electronic and invisible collars don't count as a leash under town rules.
- Dogs to stay off the dunes
- Always clean up after your dog.
Are their rental equipment companies available for anything you don't offer or have?
Yes! We've stocked our rentals with a lot, but there are a few things we don't have, like canoes and bikes. The good news is that Holden Beach has great local rental companies, and many of them deliver right to the house.
Here are the ones we recommend:
- Mr. Beach Rentals: Bikes, kayaks, surfboards, and beach chairs and shades they'll set up and take down for you every day. www.MrBeachRentals.com
- Island Time Rentals: (910) 234-2105
- Cabana Rentals: (910) 231-0398
- Jet skis by the bridge: (910) 842-7000
- Golf carts:
Want to get out on the water?
- tourH2O: Jet ski tours and family fishing trips. www.tourH2O.com
- Sorta Salty Fishing Charters with Captain Jeff Galyan: sortasalty.com
Renting a kayak? Bridgeview Park, right by the bridge, has a kayak launch into the Intracoastal Waterway. It's one of our favorite ways to spend a calm morning.
Need groceries or supplies waiting when you arrive? Coastal Home Watch Concierge can stock the house before you get here: (910) 634-5769.
Tip: Bikes and kayaks go fast in June and July, so book ahead of your trip if you can.
Do you allow extended stays?
Yes — we welcome both weekend getaways and longer-term stays. Just reach out!
Are fishing licenses required to fish in the surf or while boating?
Yes. If you're 16 or older, you'll need a North Carolina Coastal Recreational Fishing License to fish anywhere around Holden Beach. That includes surf fishing right off our beach, fishing from a boat or kayak, and fishing the Intracoastal Waterway or the marsh. Kids under 16 fish free, so the little ones can cast a line without one.
The good news is that it's quick and cheap to get. A 10-day license is perfect for a week at the beach, and there are annual licenses for our fall fishermen who come back every year.
- See license options and current prices: NC Division of Marine Fisheries: Recreational Fishing Licenses
- Buy your license online: Go Outdoors North Carolina. You can also call 888-248-6834, or pick one up at most Walmart stores and local tackle shops.
- Check what you can keep: NC Recreational Size and Bag Limits
Buy it before you get here so you can start fishing your first morning.
Booking a fishing charter? Licensed charter boats usually carry a license that covers everyone on board, so you won't need your own. Just confirm with your captain when you book.
A few beach fishing courtesies: Give swimmers plenty of room and take your line, hooks and bait with you when you leave. Our sea turtles and shorebirds will thank you. If you hook or spot an injured sea turtle, call the Holden Beach Turtle Watch stranding team right away at (910) 754-0766.
What taxes are added to my stay?
Like every vacation rental on Holden Beach, your stay includes North Carolina sales tax (6.75%) and the local occupancy tax (6%), for a total of 12.75%. These taxes are set by the state and county, not by us. The occupancy tax goes back into the Holden Beach community, and you'll see it listed clearly on your booking total, so there are no surprises at checkout. Tax rates can change if the state or county updates them.
When is trash and recycling pickup? When should I roll out the carts?
Trash pickup:
| Season | Pickup days |
|---|---|
| Memorial Day weekend through October | Tuesday and Saturday |
| November through Memorial Day | Tuesday only |
Rolling out the carts: Pickup starts early, so roll the trash carts from under the house out to the curb the night before or by 6:00 AM on pickup day. After pickup, roll them back under the house so they're out of the street and away from the wind.
Bag everything. Please bag all trash before it goes in the cart. Loose trash attracts seagulls and raccoons and makes a mess on windy days.
Recycling: We don't have curbside recycling, so please put all trash in the carts. If you'd like to recycle, Brunswick County runs free drop-off sites near the island. You can find locations and hours on the Brunswick County Recycling page.
Regardless of checkout day- please roll your carts to the curb. It's one of the most helpful things you can do for the next family.
Can you grill, have a camp fire or do fireworks on the beach?
The short answer is no campfires and no fireworks, but sparklers are allowed.
Here's what the Town of Holden Beach allows:
- Campfires and bonfires: Not allowed. Open burning is prohibited anywhere within the town limits, and that includes the beach.
- Fireworks: Not allowed anywhere on the island. Sparklers are the one exception, so grab a pack for the kids and make some memories on the sand after dark. Please pick up every wire when you're done.
- Grilling: Yes! Do it at the house. Town rules say a grill has to be at least 10 feet from any part of any structure, including roof overhangs, and it can never be used on a deck.
Remember our sea turtles: From May through October, keep lights off the beach at night and pick up everything you bring. That includes those sparkler wires.
Are tents, cabanas, umbrellas, other beach equipment allowed on the beach?
Yes! Set up your tent, cabana, umbrella and chairs and make a day of it. Holden Beach just has a few rules to keep the beach safe for everyone, including our sea turtles:
- Pack it up every night. All beach equipment, including chairs, tents, umbrellas, cabanas and toys, has to come off the beach between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Anything left behind is considered abandoned and gets picked up and thrown away by the town.
- Keep gear off the dunes. Don't store equipment in the dunes, and never walk or sit on them. The dunes protect the island, and walking on them is strictly prohibited.
- Fill in your holes. Digging deeper than 12 inches isn't allowed, and every hole should be filled back in before you leave for the day. Holes are a real danger for nighttime walkers, emergency responders and baby sea turtles heading to the ocean.
- Use the walkways. Get to the beach on your rental's private walkway. Our private beach walk at our rentals makes that part easy.
The easy part: Since we're oceanfront, putting everything away at night just means a quick walk back to the storage room. No loading the car, no hauling gear across the street.
Don't want to set up at all? Mr. Beach Rentals will set up beach chairs and shades for you each morning and take them down each evening. Visit MrBeachRentals.com.
what is your bad weather policy?
We can't control the weather, but we can be upfront about how it works.
Rainy days and storms: We don't give refunds or credits for rain, cold, wind, rough surf or other bad weather, and that includes named storms and hurricanes. A rainy afternoon at the beach still has plenty to offer. Our Welcome Book has a rainy day list ready for you.
Mandatory evacuations: If state, county or local officials issue a mandatory evacuation order for Holden Beach during your stay, you'll need to follow it right away. When that happens, we refund every night you couldn't stay because of the order.
What doesn't count as a mandatory evacuation:
- A voluntary evacuation
- A tropical storm or hurricane watch or warning that never becomes a mandatory order
- General bad weather
Protect your trip: Since weather and named storms aren't refundable, we strongly recommend trip insurance, especially for summer and fall stays during hurricane season. You can add it through your guest portal after you book. Buy it early, because many plans won't cover a storm once it's been named.
During your stay: If a storm is headed our way, we'll keep in touch and share updates. Watch local news and Brunswick County Emergency Services for official announcements.
For official announcements, use these Brunswick County resources:
- Brunswick County Hurricane Evacuations: Evacuation orders and zone information
- ReadyBrunswick Emergency Alerts: Free alerts by text, call or email for hurricanes, severe weather and evacuation orders. It takes 2 minutes to sign up before your trip.
What is your Cancellation & Transfer Policy?
We know plans change. Here's exactly how cancellations and transfers work for our beach rentals:
Payments
- Booking deposit: A 50% booking deposit is due when you sign your rental agreement. It holds your dates.
- Balance: The rest, including your security deposit, is due 30 days before your arrival.
- Booking within 30 days: If you book within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due when you book.
- Late payments: If a payment is overdue, PineCoast Properties may cancel the reservation without notice and re-rent the dates.
How to cancel or transfer
Every cancellation or transfer request must be sent to us in writing by email at [email protected]. A request isn't official until we receive your email. Text messages and phone calls don't count.
Cancellations
If you cancel a confirmed reservation for any reason, we'll make every reasonable effort to re-rent your dates.
- If we re-rent your dates at your original rate: Once the new guest pays their balance in full, we'll refund what you've paid minus a $250 cancellation fee. This only applies when the same home is re-rented for the same dates.
- If we can't re-rent your dates, or re-rent them at a lower rate: No refund is issued.
- Lower-rate re-rentals: PineCoast Properties may re-rent cancelled dates at a reduced rate, except June and July weeks. Those are only re-rented at full rate.
There are no refunds for early departures, late arrivals, no-shows or weather, including named storms and hurricanes. The one exception is a mandatory evacuation order (see our Bad Weather Policy).
Transfers (changing your dates)
Rather cancel than lose your vacation? You may be able to move your stay instead.
- When to ask: Send your request by email at least 60 days before your original arrival date.
- Which dates: You can move your stay once, to open dates at the same home within 12 months of your original arrival.
- Fee: There's a $150 transfer fee.
- If the new dates cost more, you pay the difference. If they cost less, the difference isn't refunded.
- Your payments move with you. Everything you've already paid goes toward the new dates.
- Transferred stays are final. If you cancel after transferring, you don't get a refund, even if we re-rent the dates.
- Fewer than 60 days out? Your request is treated as a cancellation and follows the re-rent policy above.
Protect your trip
Because refunds depend on re-renting your dates, we strongly recommend trip insurance. You can add it through your guest portal right after you book. Trip insurance can cover cancellations for illness, emergencies and travel problems that this policy can't.
Where are the Pinehurst Rentals Located?
The Walter Hagen & The Bobby Jones
Our 2 golf condos sit right by Pinehurst Resort, close enough that you can leave the car parked for most of your trip if you wanted to walk. The Cradle is about a 7 minute walk from The Bobby Jones and about 10 minutes from The Walter Hagen. That puts you steps from Pinehurst No. 2, the Thistle Dhu putting course and the clubhouse. The Village of Pinehurst is about a 5 minute drive from both. That's where you'll find the Putter Boy, the little shops, coffee in the morning and dinner after the round.
Broad Street in Southern Pines is an easy drive when you want more restaurants and nightlife.
Foxfire condos (our long-term rentals)
Our 2 identical condos sit on the Foxfire golf course in the Village of Foxfire, just outside Pinehurst. Each one is fully furnished, with golf course views and all utilities included. That means one monthly payment and nothing to set up when you move in.
How far are the Pinehurst condos from the major golf courses?
Short answer? More than you can play in one trip. Here's what we tell our own golf groups, starting with the courses you can walk to and working out to the ones worth the drive.
Right outside your door: Pinehurst Resort
From The Bobby Jones, The Cradle is about a 7 minute walk, and from The Walter Hagen it's about 10. That puts you at the home of Pinehurst No. 2, the Donald Ross course that's hosted the U.S. Open 4 times. The resort has 10 championship courses in all. They include No. 4 by Gil Hanse, the No. 8 Centennial course by Tom Fazio, the only Jack Nicklaus design here (No. 9), and the new walking-only No. 10 by Tom Doak. Then there's The Cradle, 9 short holes with music playing, and Thistle Dhu, the 18 hole putting course.
About 10 to 15 minutes away: the Southern Pines classics
- Pine Needles: A Donald Ross course that has hosted the U.S. Women's Open 4 times.
- Mid Pines: Ross again, and one of the most loved old-school rounds in the Sandhills.
- Southern Pines Golf Club: A 1906 Ross layout, recently restored and easy to walk.
- Talamore Golf Resort: A Rees Jones design, and yes, it's the course famous for its llama caddies.
- Mid South Club: An Arnold Palmer course right across Midland Road from Talamore.
- Legacy Golf Links: A Jack Nicklaus II design in Aberdeen, and a great value round.
- Longleaf and Hyland: Two relaxed, easy-on-the-wallet courses for a warm-up day.
Worth the drive: about 30 to 40 minutes
- Tobacco Road (Sanford): Mike Strantz's wild, bucket-list course, with blind shots, huge waste bunkers and holes you'll talk about the whole way home. Ask any of our golf groups and they'll tell you to book it.
Tee times at the top courses book up fast in spring and fall, so lock yours in early.

How do I get into the Pinehurst Village and nearby restaurants?
The Village is about a 5 minute drive from both The Walter Hagen and The Bobby Jones, so you can get from your door to dinner in less time than it takes to find your putter.
Driving and parking: Most guests drive in and park on the street or in one of the public lots. Parking downtown is mostly 3 hour spaces around Market Square, Chinquapin Road and Cherokee Road, which is plenty of time for lunch and a little shopping. Planning a long dinner or a full afternoon in the Village? Park in one of the two lots with no time limit. One is the Sandlot at 1 Village Green Road West, and the other is next to the Pine Crest Inn on Dogwood Road.
Heading to the resort side: The Cradle and the clubhouse are about a 7 minute walk from The Bobby Jones and about 10 minutes from The Walter Hagen. That makes it easy to walk to The Deuce for a drink overlooking the 18th green at No. 2.
Some of our favorite spots: Pinehurst Brewing Company for barbecue and craft beer, the 1895 Grille at the Holly Inn, Drum & Quill for a pub night, Ironwood Cafe for burgers and The Deuce after your round. When you want more choices, Broad Street in Southern Pines is about 15 minutes away.
Big group or a night out? Uber and Lyft run in the area but can be limited, especially late at night and during big tournament weeks, so book your ride early. Our local favorites guide at the condo has the rest.
Is there a place to store golf clubs?
The units have space for gear, and all have ground-level access making transporting clubs easy.
