Pinehurst is the Home of American Golf, and we grew up just down the road from it. Here’s what we love most: You can walk out the door of The Bobby Jones and be at The Cradle in about 7 -10 minutes. From The Walter Hagen, it’s about 10-15 minutes walking.

Golf is the reason most of our guests come. Pinehurst No. 2 has hosted the U.S. Open many times, and the USGA now calls Pinehurst home. Spend a day here and you’ll find it everywhere. You’ll see the Putter Boy statue, the 9 short holes at The Cradle, and more than 40 courses fill the Sandhills around the village.

New to the area? Here’s what a trip looks like when you’re not on the course. You can drink coffee in the village, browse the little shops, walk under the longleaf pines, and grab dinner on Broad Street in Southern Pines. On a quiet morning, catch the horses training at the Pinehurst Harness Track. The village is about a 5 minute drive from both condos, so everything is close.

Spring and fall are the best seasons here. The weather is right for any day on the course, and the azaleas and dogwoods are blooming everywhere. That’s also when the junior tournaments come to town, and a lot of our families have stayed with us for those weeks.
